I thing I like best about this neighborhood is how much outdoor activity there is. There are always people out walking, riding bikes, kids playing in the school playground or taking dogs for walks. I've lived in Pittsburgh, Miami and Maryland and have never seen it to the extent I do here. When we moved to Maryland we were excited about the neighborhood because we saw so many play sets in the yards and we had two small children. Later we were disappointed to find out no one ever played outside. It was like an abandoned neighborhood with everyone shut up insides their houses. There weren't any sidewalks in that neighborhood. Maybe that's why this neighborhood is so great- we have sidewalks on both sides of the streets and it encourages everyone to get out and use them.
