Greetings all,
I'm your neighbor, Amber Lee. I live at 723 W. Pine Street and I represent our neighborhood on the city's Housing and Community Development Advisory Board. On November 9th at 1:15pm, the Development Director Steve Baldwin and I are conducting a walk-thru of the neighborhood. We will meet in Veteran's Park in front of Southside School. We will look at homes in need of repair (minor and major) and vacant lots for potential development. We will address some of the problem homes in the neighborhood. Our board will develop a plan for dealing with these issues.
As we walk through, we will also take note of pot holes, sidewalks in need of repair, street signage, lighting issues and if any of our beautiful trees need attention. Those lists will be passed onto the appropriate city department.
I welcome you all to join us. We can talk about the positive things in our neighborhood and where we have room for improvement. If you are unable to attend and have an issue you would like addressed please feel free to contact me. And please pass this information on to anyone else who may be interested.
