The mulberries are ripening on the tree and ready for picking.  Anyone that wants any come and pick them any time.  Mulberries taste and look alot like black berries.

Be warned - wear old shoes because they will get stained with all the mulberries that are on the ground.  If you wear flip flops you will get purple toes!

The tree is located along the alley between Pine and Locust St.  You can't miss them- the alley is covered with them.  They will continue to ripen for the next week or so.

There is a plastic tarp under the tree you can use if you want to shake limbs.
