Dogs Loose In Neighborhood and Dog Clean Up
What has been suggested about dogs running freely around the neighborhood w/o leashes and owners who do not clean up after their dogs? There are a few consistent repeat offenders of this near Powell Park. Does anyone have any advice? I just do not understand how people feel it is okay to not clean up after their doggies when children are running around in the grass. Who wants poo on their shoes? My pup runs in my yard w/o a leash, but I never let her walk around w/o one outside of my yard.

Most of the dog owners I have seen do bring doggie bags and clean it up but there are those few who think they are entitled to have their dog crap wherever they want and just leave it. Some of them sneak down the alley to avoid detection. Little do they know I'm standing in my kitchen watching their dog crap in my back yard. Sometimes they will do it even if you are standing in the back yard and look at you like, what? Come on people, have a little respect and decency for your fellow neighbor. The best thing you can do if you see a dog loose is call the dog catcher if you don't know who the owner is. Better for them to pay a fine than have their dog get run over or have it bite someone.
