Event Description

Our neighborhood is having a float this year in the parade!  The parade theme is the 12 Days of Christmas.  Our float will be the Historic (Pear) Tree Streets. We want to invite everyone to be involved!

Ways to participate:

  1. Work on the float Sunday, November 25 at 1PM. Come to the backyard of 700 W. Pine (Sam Pettyjohn’s house, corner of Boyd and W. Pine)
  2. Make/buy pears for the pear tree.
  3. Come to the ETSU parking lot at the corner of University and State of Franklin on December 1st by 10AM if you want to be in the parade and/or help decorate the pear tree. (Some children will be able to ride on the float, but most kids and adults will walk. We’ll have candy to hand out to the crowd)
  4. Wear green, and if you want to, make a pear costume! Some costumes will be available.
