Betty Ann Polaha cannot claim the title of resident storyteller in the Tree Streets because Kiran Flip Singh Sirah, a most famous teller, also lives there.  But she can claim the title of a person who likes to tell stories in the Tree Streets.  While realizing that a lot of people in the Tree Streets like to tell stories, Betty Ann's are true or mostly true.   
 
On Friday night (the 12th) she will be telling stories on the Fine Arts Stage at the Little Chicago Downtown Festival.  Betty Ann is featured in the show for families which starts at 6 and the show for teens and adults which starts are 8:30.  Each show is an hour and features other tellers as well.  Please come out and see if you recognize yourself in one of Betty Ann's stories.
